An analysis of Trump’s record on healthcare shows a very strong commitment to limited government principles. As President, Trump issued multiple executive orders to weaken and provide alternatives to Obamacare, such as short-term and associated healthcare plans that did not contain costly Obamacare mandates. The only major area Trump deviated from limited government principles is through executive orders which grew government regulations and worsened interference in the pharmaceutical industry.
