An analysis of Scott’s record on regulations shows a generally strong commitment to limited government principles. As Senator, Scott supported a number of bills which utilized the Congressional Review Act to combat federal overreach, especially within the banking and lending sector. However, there are a couple areas where he strayed away from limited government principles, most notably regulations on consumer goods.
