The products may only be sold directly to consumers and must include a warning that the meat was not inspected. Such sales are currently prohibited under federal law, so this would only take effect if the federal law were changed, or a court strikes down the prohibition. Improving Educational Outcomes and Expanding School Choice by Making it Easier for Charter Schools to Apply for Grants.

This vote approves a package of amendments (JC001) to the appropriations bill. The package of amendments increase spending across a multitude of initiatives surrounding tourism, community centers, government housing, a shooting complex and higher education scholarships. Oppose is the Limited Government Position as these spending initiatives go directly against the principles of fiscal restraint and limited government. Instead of increasing the size and role of government, lawmakers should work to slash every unnecessary expenditure across every level of government in order to provide Wyoming's much needed tax relief - especially property tax relief.

Hiking Health Insurance Premiums by Mandating All Policies Provide Coverage for Hearing Aids and Limiting Deductibles.

This bill creates an independent charter school authorization board to approve new charter schools and oversee their operation. The bill is expected to make it easier to establish new charter schools as previously charters had to seek approval from local school boards who may see them as funding threats. This version of the bill includes a number of transparency and accountability provisions for charter schools that were removed in the House. Support is the Limited Government as expanding school choice improves educational outcomes for students by creating a "market" in education and allowing parents to send their child to the school that best fits their needs.
